Tony Rock Explains The Difference Between Stand Up Comics and Social Media Stars

I had such a great time interviewing Tony Rock. It felt like I was learning and laughing the whole time we were together.  I even wore my Biggie shirt and Adidas jacket just so I could connect with the Brooklyn in him.  One of the questions I really wanted his answer on was how come people who are hilarious on social media with massive followings can't seem to translate their funny on stage like a Stand-up comic can?  Watch Tony Rock answer my question using perfect metaphors. Check it out below.

Tony Rock Talks 'The Game of Dating' on TV ONE [VIDEO]

I interviewed the always funny Tony Rock who is a comedian, actor and new host of TV ONE's "The Game of Dating.'  This network original primetime series takes a voyeuristic look at real-life dating while teams watch, react and compete to win cash prizes.  "It is a hilarious, jam-packed series filled with comedy, huge reveals and excellent play along," said Brad Siegel, President of TV One. "With expert comic timing, Tony Rock entertainingly navigates the audience and our contestants through two dates - each one as unpredictable and funny as the last. It's the only game show where dating pays off!"

'The Game of Dating' begins each hour-long episode with three teams of friends and/or family who watch real dates in a "hidden camera" style from the comfort of their homes. Throughout the show, the teams, as well as Rock, will offer their funny and uncensored commentary. The couples could be on an awkward first date, enjoying a new relationship, or they could be an existing couple with history just trying to keep the magic going. The competing teams watch the dates and do their best to figure out the daters' stories and next moves in order to score cash.  TV ONE's redefines the dating and game show genres by offering viewers provocative, sexy and hysterical new takes on classic dating show scenarios.

Check out my interview with Tony Rock below and make sure you tune in and watch the one-hour series premiere on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.

How Naughty By Nature Would Respond if Invited to Perform at Donald Trump's Inauguration

It's been all over the news about how many artists have been asked to perform at Donald Trump's upcoming inauguration.  So many artists have declined and the ones who have agreed to perform have been dragged on social media.  Jennifer Holiday even got death threats and later decided not to perform.  She even got emotional about it on 'The View.'

I watched rapper 2 chains Instagram video about how he declined an invitation to perform at the inauguration even though he always wanted to go to the White House.  I interviewed Naughty by Nature on the red carpet of the T-Boz Unplugged benefit concert at the Avalon in Hollywood and I could not resist asking this legendary hip hop group how they would respond if invited to perform at Donald Trump's inauguration.  Watch their response below.

Quencie Talks To Regina King on HuffPost Live

I was thrilled to be invited to ask two time Emmy-award winning Regina King a question on HuffPost Live.  The first time I met Regina King was on a red carpet during my first year in LA.   I was there to ask celebrities questions standing with no camera or a voice recorder right next to Entertainment Tonight.  Instead, I remember having a pen and pad.  Yes, I know right - rolls eyes.

Even though, I had no idea what I was doing Regina King still stopped and talked to me.  I will l ways remember that.  She could have so easily side stepped me.  Celebrities run past reporters without thinking twice.  The fact that she didn't says a lot about her.  I still smile when I think of that moment.  She was already one of my favorite actresses, but after this day she became one of my favorite people. Check out my question to Regina King on HuffPost Live below.
