A few years back I had the distinct pleasure and honor to speak to Emmy award winning actress Viola Davis and her husband Julius Tennon on the purple carpet of Halle Berry's Silver Rose Awards Gala and Auction to benefit the Jenessee Center. Viola was a presenter at the ceremony. Viola is one of my favorite actresses so I was super nervous to speak to her.  I remember how I tripped over my words when she was in front of me, but through the power of editing you don't get to witness that.  One day I hope to get a chance to do a sit down interview with her.
